Abdulrahim Sultan

Director, World Green Economy Organization (WGEO)

Abdulrahim Sultan is the Board Member and Director of WGEO, he has over 25 years of experience in senior positions for the UAE Government, private sector and the United Nations, including as the UN and UNDP Special Advisor since 2013.

Previously served as a Director General for Dubai Maritime City. He has been involved in integrated management functions across different industries and competencies including investments, real estate and sustainability with a track record of numerous high visibility transactions and has managed the investment portfolio of Dubai Maritime City, Platinum Royal Yachts of Dubai Royal Family, Jadaf Dubai shipyard and Emirates International Maritime Academy with a core focus on the creation of an enabling environment.

Mr. Sultan acquired a degree in Business Administration from the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE in 1997, earned Continuing Professional Diplomas (CPD) in several different areas of expertise from the Chartered Institute of Management in 2006, Cambridge University in 2007 and from the British University of Dubai in 2010, as well as completed numerous certified courses in project management and clean development.
